Write 2 vote

There was a time when men who gave their life for this country, women and people who were black, were denied the privilege to vote. Common sense and democracy prevailed, making it possible for servicemen, women and African Americans to partake in one of our most valued rights, to vote.

We have made the proper ethical and logical additions to our legally approved list of voters , but I suggest, the pendulum should swing both ways. Yes, I believe we should also rescind the right to vote from people who fail a simple prerequisite. A short, elementary questionnaire, that I believe is just as appropriate as having proof of citizenship, age or showing your identification, do we even ask for those requirements?

American voter registration form (amended)

1. Are you an American citizen?

2. Was Atlanta damaged when Russia invaded Georgia?

3. Did the cold war end in the spring or the summer?

4. Was Lenin a popular British Beetle?

5. Is Ivan the terrible a wrestler?

Too many individuals on too many occasions, can randomly ask others in their immediate surroundings about their insight on pertinent international matters and realize not many people know, not many people care. For that matter, we can inquire about national affairs and receive little participation on the intricacies of topical matters. I'm not suggesting everyone read three news papers in the morning and be required to take history 101, but I would think we would want to be very interested in the importance of life outside our jobs or night time television shows. Maybe I'm just ranting.

If I check my motives, I guess I am just exhausted with asking people why they are so encouraged about voting for Barack Obama and not getting a coherent answer. It is truly amazing. Change! Vote-A-Way

Blind Eye part one

The Olympics are unfolding in China, who'd have ever thought the communist would come so far, or have our expectations fallen so low? China deserves the Olympics as much as John Edwards does a halo. The Chinese government continues to persecute and destroy Christians in their country. We are constantly bombarded with empathetic protest surrounding the Tibetan Monks. Does America even recognize Chinese Christians?

China has either succeeded in covering up their human atrocities or we have become very proficient in turning the other way. I would say too much of both. The smog and the pollution are quite a convenient cover for injustice beyond the Olympic stage. If by chance, one were to elude the well placed snipers , and roam out into immediate Beijing, they would see that China had done some nice landscaping.

They plowed down the houses of the cities poor, then sent them packing. The ones they couldn't move fast enough, probably the obese, got thrown behind a wall, to keep their unsuitable carcases hidden, no doubt.

Some of the unseen renovations have been to keep those unsightly Christians either locked up or expelled from the city. Christians are reduced to holding prayer in secret, often in someone's house, if they can get away with it. Since China has also restricted foreign reporters, the slight chance of illuminating some of the Christians injustices has probably become quite faint.

Our country was founded by men with ardent Christian values and beliefs. Christian convictions so strong that they left their homeland to find freedom from the government's molestation of their faith and its a corrupt church leaders. Yet, we feel it is much more trendy to protest for Tibet, than the suffering Christians. It is the Christians who have been arrested for giving aid to the earthquake victims.

Our nations support of the Olympics in China is a testament to just how misguided we've become. We live in the greatest nation on the planet, yet we sometimes act like spoiled
children. A great number of us are satisfied being uninformed, so let me show you something to wrap your brain around. China has over 90 million Christians, yet, I am quite sure there are less than 5 million people in Tibet.

I plead guilty to neglecting to do my part in protesting the host of the Olympics. I, as a Christian, did too little too late. I suggest that all Christians, including myself, do more to hold China responsible for their tyranny. Although China hasn't seemed to have grown in it's tolerance of humanity, Chinese Christians continue to increase in numbers, that speaks volumes about our faith, why can't we do the same.

Man loses head in Canada

While passengers fled a Greyhound bus screaming, on Wednesday, one unlucky Winnipeg man stayed behind. Tim McLean, was too busy being brutally murdered to attend the meeting of his frantic fellow passengers outside. When safely outside the bus, passengers were turned to onlookers, they bravely watched while Tim was decapitated.

The perpetrator, 40, must have been an enormous man, I suggest with super powers, because the 37 other passengers on the bus bolted out without so much as an attempt to subdue the attacker. The carnage continued. I guess the police finally captured the man because he is in custody, booked on second degree murder charges, second degree? I shutter to think of what Canada's first degree involves.

I haven't yet found to much detail as to how this despicable animal was captured, most of the stories end with him eating the victims flesh and mocking the police with the severed head.

If you think the bus people were a little detached, and unmoved as cowardly left their yellow vapor trail, you've gotta hear the victims family. While I expected their fiery outrage to make mine look faint, I was once again surprised. Tim McLeans Uncle calmly eulogized him as a meek, stubborn traveler who would make a friend wherever he went. (or something like that) No rage, no wrathful vengeance, nothing.

This crime will probably end up in the pages of bizarre happenings in some sensationalized, believe it or not, website. The fact that this hideous tragedy is merely being looked at as some gruesome generic piece of news, is an outrage, to me. I guess I am the only one that believes, anyone who had the chance to stop this attack and didn't is just as guilty of second degree murder as the killer.

Social list

Election 2008, Barack Obama is elected. All of the hapless victims of change will finally be confronted with the reality of just what the "Progressive movement" really means. I can see it now, Nancy Pelosi, the hideous czar of the P.M., succeeding with her perverse molestation of the first amendment. Nancy, basically feels she should be able to abolish the views on talk radio that might be in contrast to her own agenda. With Gestapo tactics never running out of fashion, she refuses to let bills hit the floor for a vote, like the Freedom Act sponsored by Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) which received a resounding "No"

The Freedom Act is an antidote for the quasi-fascist " fairness doctrine" that Pelosi so rabidly supports. The fairness doctrine will censor FM radio and reduce all of it's controversial topics to watered down dribble. You see, I get the hunch that Nancy Pelosi doesn't like the idea that a radio talk shows survival depends on the public interest and its support(ie.) if the public likes the show it will succeed, if no one listens to the show, it's bounced.

That is just an example of where the democrats desire to bring this country, and I will go kicking. They believe that we are not intelligent enough to decide things on our own, they must make laws to teach us the proper way to think. We are restricted to the issues they think we are capable of understanding.

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and all the other left wing Dem's want big government to do for the people what they can't do for themselves, or more over, what the democrats want to convince us we can't do for ourselves. Heaven forbid, the will of the people doesn't align with their agenda. When we vote Obama into office you can bet there is a list of social agendas that will be imposed.

1. Liberal supreme court judges will be appointed. These judges will catch on to this hip new trend of over ruling the will of the people. (ie.) Cally fawn yah.

2. Gay marriage will go unabated and dismantle what's left of the traditional American family, which, by the way has kept this county strong like none other.

3. Planned Parenthood will continue to steal our tax dollars to fund their lucrative empire, built by the bones of the innocent.

4. We will be taxed heavily for illegal alien health care. So if they injure a finger while murdering an innocent man and his sons again, we can flip the bill.

5. The government will install meters to shut off our heat and light if we go over the government's determined amount.

6. Instead of supermarkets taking our cash, we will be given "Food cards" that will be capped at the amount of grocery we may consume or use.

7. Our vehicles will be customized with governors to regulate our speed and fuel consumption, if we exceed the alloted usage we will be fined.

Religious or Christian?

There is a striking difference between being religious and professing to be a Christian. I would like to use a political analogy to amplify this difference, because I think it is very important to discern, the two. Being religious can be equated to presidential hopeful Barack Obama, he claims to have spiritual faith, although I've yet to hear him reference Christ the lord. Mr. Obama, by all accounts is very religious, he has patronized one of the top Christian churches in America, Trinity United church.... Oh, of Christ.

Although they are not much for praising the word of Jesus, they do have a fondness for Muslim radical Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan has brought us such uplifting sermons such as kill whitey and America should die, I am paraphrasing of course. The Trinity United is commonly referred to as a black church, I've see the outside of it and I'm miffed as to that reference. Any who, Mr. Obama avidly supports the termination of an inconvenient fetus, him too? I am quite certain Christ would not call an unwanted pregnancy a punishment.

Barack Obama is very religious but, I am sure he is not a Christian. The whole premise for being a Christian is the idea you strive to be Christ-like. There are beautiful multi million dollar churches that organize services to pray to their higher power, but unless that power is Jesus, you'd only be religious. Some religious people even claim to be Christians, but like Barack Obama, they subscribe to a few things that wouldn't be labeled "Christ like" Such as homosexual marriage, abortion, racism, discrimination, and stuff like that. Another good example of religion is Alcoholics Annonomys, they pray to a "higher power" they don't want to specify the Christian religion anymore because it might alienate some one trying to get sober. Heaven forbid they find out the serenity prayer is from the bible and the twelve steps are built by beliefs in the bible, shh I won't tell anybody.

There is nothing wrong with being religious, I mean yes, there is no consolation prize for almost believing in Christ. And yes, you have the chance of an atheist to get into heaven, but don't sweat it you'll be politically correct. Christianity is a religion, just like Hinduism, Buddhism, liberalism, liberalism? There are allot of sub categories to the word religion. It does not describe one cognitive contention, such as Christianity. Religion is a faith based law, an inspired ritual based on a belief.
