And so another stoic Christian leader wilts under the bright light of day, Rick Warren shame, shame, shame. Well maybe not the light of day, but definitely the incandescent glow of Hollywierd. Last night I had the opportunity to hear Mr. Warren say he's never been and never will be an anti-gay marriage activist. Then he proceed to ramble on about the much more pertinent projects he focused on, blah blah blah.

Unfortunately Rick, who claimed to be an supporter of Prop 8, just a few short weeks earlier, crumbled under the pressure that appeasement so often brings. Warren had to explain to his gay friends that he wasn't one of those narrow minded right-wing Christian Nazi's, you know the ones that give him and his mega church all its obscene profits.

If our religious leaders continue to placate every special interest group to avoid controversy, we will find ourselves on the same sinking ship that our government is currently chartering. We will lose our identity, and when we do, you can bet we will never recover, never. Our government absorbs the emotional distress from every squeaky wheel, as not to let anyone feel uncomfortable; the more they accommodate the individual fringe, the less recognizable our nation becomes.

As Christians we have a responsibility to Jesus, we are not politicians who need to kiss babies and promise better jobs and create affordable health care. The message is clear. The secular left has manipulated and brainwashed folks to believe that they should be ashamed and re-educated if they find themselves uncomfortable with irreverence and moral degradation. The sad fact is it's working!

Some may reckon that I shouldn't be so critical of Mr. Warren, and maybe they are right. However, when I read about the atrocities inflicted on fellow believers in China, Pakistan, and Africa, I become inspired to hold myself to a standard.

It's difficult to imagine a politician being less than truthful, but to out right lie, why

that's just un-American. It seems the true American Idol, Barack Obama, has

rescinded his prior ethical stance on ear marks. Earlier, in a debate with Republican

patsy John McCain, Obama insisted that his virtuous administration would examine,

line by line, all bills, ensuring the elimination of wasteful earmarks. Welcome to

Omnibus '09, with over 9000 ear marks! In keeping with the whole, “It's crisis, shut up

and give me your money.” theme, Obama's reason for signing this bill, laden with

more fat than a Big Mac, was he simply didn't want to bog down congress at this

critical juncture. Change anyone?

Connecticut and 1098

A bill that would put important financial decisions beyond the reach of Roman

Catholic bishops , and before the scrutiny of an appointed lay committee, was

temporarily averted yesterday. This attempt by the new secular left should be

enough

to scare us straight. The purpose of this bill was to silence the Catholic Church and

aggressively marginalize their effectiveness for representing biblical opposition to this

Libya Tortures Four Christian Converts from Islam

Other Christian converts on the run fearing for their lives

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 9, 2009) - International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that Libyan intelligence officials have detained and tortured four Christians for converting from Islam. The Christians have been imprisoned for the past seven weeks in Tripoli, Libya's capital.

Libya's External Security Organization is believed to be behind the detention and torture of the Christians, according to our sources. The security agents have barred the families from visiting the detained converts and are putting severe physical and psychological pressure on the Christians in order to force them to reveal the names of other converts. Fearing for their lives, converts from Islam are on the run.

The detention and the torture of the Christian converts come at a critical time in Libya's relations with the international community. The country has been improving its relations with the international community following the lifting of sanctions imposed on it due to its involvement in the bombing of an American airliner in which 270 people were killed.

By torturing the four Christian converts and stifling religious freedom, Libya is once again violating basic principles of the international human rights law.

ICC's Regional Manager for Africa, Jonathan Racho, said, "We call upon Libyan officials to stop torturing the four Christians and release them from detention. Libya must respect the rights of its citizens to worship freely and not to be tortured. We particularly ask the Libyan leader and the current head of the African Union, Mr. Muammar Gaddafi, to set the prisoners free and demonstrate his country's commitment to respect human rights."

Obama's World

For the traditional Christian in the contemporary world, things may sometimes appear to be rotten. It all to often feels as though we are losing the war, when it's the battle we should be contending with. For those of us who have been guilty of watching on the sidelines, it's rendered us some what paralyzed in frustration. The man who we call President is methodically waging a cultural assault, that if left unchallenged, will be the single greatest detriment to the American soul, ever.
An Obama world is one where are babies will be born slaves to the government, if born at all. Homosexuality will be a civil right that our children will believe was fought for, with the same intention of honor and integrity as that of Martin Luther King's struggle. An Obama world will offer a teen mother an effortless procedure, that may one day haunt her, when she realizes good things in life come from accountability and determination. If left unchallenged, may bare a society that sees men surgically manipulated as woman, raising children who know no moral compass, and who are lost in a collapsing society.
In a recent survey it was discovered that we are less religious, going the way of Europe, and it shouldn't be a surprise, some sold their soul for comfort or self preservation. My church, for the most part has a “Hey, what can we do about it” state of mind. What am I going to do about it? I am devoting myself to my new project, C.A.S.T. A, Christians Against Socialist Tyranny in America. We will some day feel the persecution we read about. I all to often find myself consumed by the struggles of my day to day, and I sometimes forget Jesus is there to help me up when I fall, he loves me. It's easy to get wrapped up in the “It's all about me.”, but if I can dedicate myself towards making a change, I will ultimately have a better quality of life, and so will you.

We were blind sided by 9/11, Bush sounded the alarm, and we were all to willing to surrender a significant slice of individual freedom. With bogus wire taps and illegal confiscations of personal liberty, via the Patriot Act, the attacks became politically lucrative for the 43^rd President. I don't subscribe to the whole “ It was an inside job...” theory, but just take a look at the economic hysteria that Bush handed off to Obama, he put the ball right in his hands. I guess the former President was so preoccupied solidifying this hoax, that is the war on terror, that he was powerless to stop the impending economic nose dive.

This recession was not inherited by Obama, it was created for him, thus ensuring a new and and substantially unstoppable ideology, neo- socialism. This is not our grand parents socialism, this change we can believe in, is being peddled as the new alternative to capitalism. I can survey 19 out of 20 co-workers, all but one might refer to a socialist as being a compilation of guests invited to the Christmas party, err I mean the Season Holiday's party.

Unless we are diligent and keep ourselves educated, we will never truly know when the sky is falling. The way Obama is capitalizing on catastrophe is shameful, but it is far from just “dumb luck”. Bush wrapped this scenario up with a beautiful red bow, this bone had Rahm Emanuel drooling like a dog, I think he said it best, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.” Does anybody see the formula?

Crisis =Panic=Unabated Power and Political Gain.

Through the uncorked and deeply biased media the government has exploited our gnat like attention spans, now they are playing the role of schoolyard bully, demanding our lunch money, and we are complying. Earlier this week our less than pious Attorney General Eric Holder boldly proclaimed, “ Though this nation proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and we, I believe continue to be, in too many ways essentially a nation of cowards.”

We seem to have forgotten that these people are our employees, they work for us, and they too, have lost sight of just who pays their bills (maybe they thought we just paid their taxes)

Obamatrons

I must preface this article by expressing my contempt for our new leader has very little to do with the fact that I am a sore loser. I know that contempt is a rather strong word. However when I contemplate all the unnecessary suffering that will fall flat on the back of my children, I am angered. In previous liberal administrations, naivety was arguable just irritating, now however it will come at a very severe cost. Obama continues to follow in the footsteps from the prior administrations of “ Good intentions”. The road to destruction is paved with good intentions.

Previously I argued that a terrorist attack on American soil that could be forded by enhanced interrogation, is a no brainier. This administration seems to think humane treatment and civil rights far outweighs the safety of our children. I can honesty say that I would personally exhaust every avenue that extracts information from an enemy combatant, if it would protect our nation. I was once confident that even the most ardent Obama “Obamatron” would concede saving their loved ones would trump the comfortability of the enemy. I was wrong. This new breed of left leaning lemmings are hardened, an in it for the long hall. I call this concoction, the Obamatron.

Typically, when you confront one of these Obamatron's they are all to eager to privy you to their new found enlightenment. I have witnessed this. After you bob and weave through the bumper sticker platitudes, you will be amazed,other than their shallow enthusiasm for the messiah, they have nothing left to offer, nothing coherent and factual that is. Obamatron's will soon establish, they are no ordinary left wing loonies, Obamatron's will honestly admit that they have no clue what their President stands for, or what he's ever done, yet their OK with that, they love him anyway. I recently questioned an Obamatron yearling, a catholic convert of sorts, “You aware if Mr. Obama had his way, the partial birth abortion might find it's way to a neighborhood near you, Sir, are you aware that your President supports homosexual couples raising young children?”

Obamatron:How do you know that?

Non Kool-Aid drinker: Well I have researched everything he has done and everything he intends to do. You know he declined to sign a bill that would eliminate the hideously inhumane practice of partial birth abortion.

Obamatron: Yes, but I feel he is going to lead us in the right direction.

Non Kool-Aid drinker: And what brings you to that conclusion?

I can regurgitate this whole train wreck of a conversation, but I'll spare you. The bottom line is these people are emotionally and spiritually consumed by the legend that is Obama. I could tell one of these Obamatron's that their Messiah refused to let an enemy combatant answer any question that might cause him mental discomfort, and thus his terror cell blew California into the sea, I still wouldn't change their mind.

We have to clean political house, starting with Obama. Our government is corrupt and broken, beyond repair as it stands now. We the people can no longer sit idly by why they steal a trillion dollars from us and ravage our society. I contend, moral decay is rabidly doled out by the government social engineering policies, thus encouraging more dependence. We should be battling for independence. We must begin NOW.

Reluctant Leadership

In hopes to educate fellow Christians, I have begun my own Ministry, dedicated to the millions who suffer in silence for their unwaivering belief in Christ, the persecuted. Earlier this month I learned 79 year old Shuang Shuying, held in a Chinese prison, had been desperately holding out hope to see her beloved husband once more before he passed away. Chinese authorities refuse to let her visit with her gravely ill husband, even though she is scheduled to be released fairly soon.
This is one of the numerous prayer updates that my ministry discusses. I believe all Christians have a responsibility to aid their fellow believers who face the injustice of brutal oppression for Christ. The persecuted risk their mortal lives for a service most of us have a hard time staying awake for. I am convinced that their plight puts important perspective on our blessed freedom.
I recently had the fortune to speak with a representative from Voice of the Martyrs. She agreed to do a presentation for my church, so I met with my Pastor to discuss the details. To my surprise my pastors response was less than enthusiastic, matter of fact he questioned whether any of his congregation would even want to show up. He gave me the “It's great in theory” shrug and then told me that I should prepare Stephanie for a low turn out. “People have a lot of things to do and the weather hasn't been that great.” He says.
Unfortunately, my Pastor isn't the only church leader who wasn't informed that his job is to lead and inspire his congregation. Earlier this week I paid a visit to my local Catholic Priest, inquiring whether he would partake in a prayer rally. After he concluded that I wasn't there to lure his faithful flock into my Protestant army, he dismissed my request much in the same way my church leader did, he couldn't waste his time.
In 2009 we need to hold our church leaders accountable, if nothing else. We undeniably dropped the ball on our elected officials, hence the new corrupt socialist regime. We are blessed, at this moment we are not victims of beatings, rapes, and acid baths, for our beliefs. It is imperative we have strong religious leaders.

King Obama and his legion of flying monkeys are rapidly digesting the individual freedoms Americans were once cognizant of; freedom that outweighed the comfortable bubble in which we want Big Government to provide. Americans have become so hyper sensitive to the slightest discomfort, that we have invited the wolf in, just to get him to stop blowing on the door.

Over the past week I've witnessed Obama distribute our hard earned tax dollars to pregnant women abroad, in order to kill their unwanted babies, thus relieving them from any punishment that might occur with an unwanted child. Obama now wants a mere trillion more to stimulate our sagging economy; if tax payer funded abortions for Mexican women are any indication of where our money might end up, I think I'll pass.

I spoke with a number of Americans, randomly, none of whom had the slightest clue as to what this stimulus consisted of, nor did they really care. A trillion dollars, I exclaimed, but it couldn't be fathomed. The dilemma is, average Joe has no idea how this debacle will affect them. I even presented the population control effort by Nancy Pelosi, it didn't make a dent!

Americans continue to be lullabied by platitudes and manipulated by unfounded scare tactics, like Gores absurd claim of “Global Warming”. This only contributes to the myth that our only salvation is a bigger government. I am convinced we are becoming a culture of mindless mice, whose only stimulation comes from the exploitation of others on sensationalize reality shows. We have become conditioned to believe there is little or nothing we can do to remedy our situation without relying on the government. That is just what they want.

Party over Policy

As conservatives tried to convince themselves that Obama was a centrist, the medias golden boy wasted no time in putting the kibosh on Guantanamo Bay. Then, in a totally unseen move, Obama lifted restrictions on US taxpayer funded abortions abroad. I wonder if Obama mentioned that during his dinner with the conservative brain trust. I really believe it is time for all our wish washy Republicans to jump ship and stay jumped! We don't need them. I constantly hear how conservatives should compromise their ideals to become more inclusive. I think it's time we purged.

Barack and all his Obamatrons, with their little red Kool-Aid mustaches, will have no mercy on conservatives, none. Conservative ideals have been misrepresented by goofy bi-partisan apologetics, presented by rubbery spine politicians who believe that the party comes first. It is time that we say goodbye to the John McCain's of our party, GOOD-BYE JOHN. If you believe this is anything but an all out war for the soul of America, then you misinformed!

Christian Nation, subtle destruction

“Art Thou King of the queers?” exclaims Pontius Pilate. What? No, not the Pilate from the scriptures that so many Christians hold so dear, but Terrance McNally's Pilate from the twisted scripts of Corpus Christi, the homosexual mockery of Christ's life. I must inquire, would McNally have the stones to portray Muhammad in such a blasphemous light?

In case your not clear, Corpus Christi, is a play which portrays a Jesus like figure and a gaggle of homosexual Apostles. Terrance McNally's rendition of the crucification with a homosexual twist, is going to be shown at the Theater Within, at 1125 Spruce St Indianapolis, IN 46203-2055.

However outrageous this may seem, it pales in comparison to the methodical beating Christians allow their faith to be subjected to on a daily basis. Subtle destruction, the close bond between country and faith is being ripped away ever so gently, courtesy of the secular left. They purged prayer from public academia, removed it from the walls of Washington, and will not let up until God is an antiquated after thought from generations much less enlightened.

Terrance McNally's, Corpus Christi, is revolting, but is it anymore unfortunate than less blatant blasphemes? This play, this man, should be subjected to fervent protest. If this play is allowed to go unchallenged, it will only further Christians tolerance for persecution. When Christians become too numb from assaults of the secular left, they will politely excuse themselves from this nations existence.
